The chalets at Waterberg Wilderness are absolutely breathtaking! The view from our room was stunning, overlooking the vast Kalahari bush savannah. It felt like we were in our own little paradise amidst the beautiful red sandstone rocks and vibrant green bush. As someone who loves nature and serenity, this was the perfect place for me!
While everything was amazing, I must admit that the long walk to the chalets from the main area was a bit tiring. But hey, that's just my personal opinion.

The views from the Plateau Lodge were stunning, especially in the early morning and evening. The bedroom at the lodge was comfortable and tastefully decorated, with warm duvets for cooler nights. The self-guided walks in the area were excellent, providing a chance to explore the beautiful surroundings.
Felt more than at home, no complaints.

The Majestic Views: The special appeal of this hotel lies in its variety of landscapes and habitats. From the plateau of Waterberg Mountain to the sheer sandstone cliffs, the lush vegetation on the slopes, the sheltered valley, and the open plain on the border of the Kalahari - the views are truly breathtaking.
Internet Interruptions: The only minor issue I encountered was occasional interruptions in the internet/WiFi connection in the more remote areas.

We had an amazing New Year's experience at a lodge in Waterberg. The stunning natural surroundings provided breathtaking views, especially during the morning walk to the top of the plateau. The knowledgeable guide ensured our safety and even helped other tourists who had wandered off. The food was superbly prepared and served by friendly staff, making our meals enjoyable. The rooms were kept immaculate, adding to the overall comfort of our stay.
There were a few drawbacks during our stay. The Wi-Fi was slow, which was a minor issue but still caused some inconvenience, especially for our daughters trying to keep in touch with their boyfriends.

The Lush Vegetation: Exploring the upper end of the valley was like stepping into a hidden oasis. The variety of plants, including huge fig trees and rare ferns, created a vibrant and magical atmosphere that made it feel like we were in a fairytale.

The location was insane, with breathtaking views and total tranquility. We went on some sick hikes and explored the surrounding nature, it was unreal. The staff was super chill and the rooms exceeded our expectations. The best part was the small number of tourists, so it felt like our own private oasis. Definitely recommend it for an awesome adventure!
The only thing we would've wanted more of is some wild party vibes for us young folks. It was a bit too quiet and relaxed for our taste.

For the money we spent, we got great value. The room was fantastic, with fine views and a private pool to cool off in. The location was perfect, surrounded by wilderness and plenty of wildlife. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The breakfast menu could use some improvement, with more variety and options to choose from.

We got great value for our money with a clean and spacious chalet surrounded by beautiful nature. The staff were wonderful and were really nice too help, like when a member of the staff brought me lunch on Christmas day when I couldn't climb the stairs due to my leg problem.
The breakfast selection could be improved with more variety.

The location of the hotel is absolutely amazing, surrounded by the beauty of the wilderness. The drive up to the lodge is a unique experience, with a narrow spiral road leading to stunning views. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with rustic safari-like decor. The restaurant area offers a glass conservatory unit, providing a unique dining experience. Outside, there is a pool and greenery area where you can spot monkeys and mongooses.
One negative aspect is the limited availability of staff, but it didn't affect our stay much.

The Wilderness Villa at Waterberg was amazing. The tent was spotlessly clean and the en suite shower was a great touch. I loved sipping my coffee in the morning while taking in the fine views from the seating area outside. The guided hike to the Waterberg plateau was a highlight of my trip, and the dinner and breakfast were delicious. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel for a cozy stay.
